The card fee does not have to come out of your rate.
Turn on the cash discount and the card processing fee passes to the client who chooses to pay by card, the way a gas station shows a cash price. Your listed rate is what you keep.
It is one toggle in your settings, and cash never carries an application fee. Leave it off and nothing changes.
